Fashion, You Really Got Me
And got me down.

As a lady, (who is not a professional athlete, an aviator, or a scientist) I personally attach far more importance to the appearance designs than the professional functions of a watch. And this is simply why I totally fall for the house of Piaget, who keeps stunning me with its masterpiece. Don’t get me wrong, since I’m not saying Piaget doesn’t perform greatly in functions of watches, and I just mean from them you can see how gorgeous a timepiece can be. Its Limelight collection is just a fabulous example, demonstrating extravagant femininity and refinement, and reflecting Piaget’s rich expertise in both horology and jewelry. Here I’ve picked three of them to show you how Piaget stuns us.

Seen from a certain distance, the first model here just looks like a breathtaking jewelry bracelet sparkling with all those stones, which turn out to be 43 carats of diamonds, but in fact it is a watch. The timepiece just can’t stop glittering, due to the five alternating rows of 168 baguette-cut diamonds and 235 brilliant-cut diamonds. And every line has pear-cut diamond at the tip. You can read the time from the white mother-of-pearl dial. Then the 18K white gold case disappears beneath the bracelet. Animating the watch is the Piaget 56P quartz movement.

The second one is indeed also rather special-looking, resembling a zip left open to show a delicate seductive cleavage of skin. The watch shines with over 100 brilliant-cut diamonds and trapeze-shaped black spinels. Crafted in 18K white gold, the case is adorned with baguette-cut diamonds, showing an incredible technical accomplishment. The diamonds are actually placed not next to, but right on the sapphire crystal to create the continuity effect between the case and the dial. The heart beating inside is the Piaget 56P quartz movement.

The third model from the Limelight line is indeed reflecting the best traditions of Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie. The case is crafted in 18K white gold, glittering with 94 baguette-cut diamonds of 36 different sizes that fit the shape of the case perfectly. It’s also got an mother-of-pearl dial and a gem-set case-back. In addition, the oscillating weight is decorated with gems. And running the timepiece is Piaget self-winding Calibre 881P.
