The first model here stands out from the crowd by its porcelain-like white dial completed with those black transferred Roman numerals and the minute track, while the second one attracts attention by its satin-finished silvery dial featuring applied rhodiumed Roman numerals and a transferred minute track. The two are both breathed to life by a new high-performance mechanical self-winding movement – the L.U.C 1.010. And the time is shown by Dauphine hands in rhodium or black.
The 42 mm case of the Chopard L.U.C 1937, crafted in stainless steel, is fitted with a screw-lock crown and glare-proof sapphire crystals for the face and the case-back. And the design presents an innovations and elegant curves.
Yet, some more elegant appeal is added to the watches by a vertical satin-brushed finish on the case sides and their polished lugs. The models have been built to be water-resistant to 50 meters.
This new L.U.C Calibre 1.010, running at a speed of 28,800 vibrations per hour, has got the COSC-chronometer certification, which guarantees absolute reliability. The 31-jewel movement offers a power reserve of 60 hours. It is responsible for the hours, minutes and central seconds as well as the date displayed at 6 o’clock. These new Chopard timepieces come with a black alligator leather strap, with a brown alligator leather lining and a steel pin buckle.
